Yellow hill-house is located on the hill-top at Mulshi surrounded with lush-green landscape and beautiful views. The site slope was the most challenging factor for building design and accessibility. The house is placed on three levels as per the slope, where each level opens up to be a terrace and a viewing deck for the upper level. Slope is towards north where each room gets ample of daylight along with the view. Building also considers existing trees on site by protecting them and enhancing by planting more native species.
While working in a team, we considered client requirements, site challenges, material availability and budget constraints. During my internship period, I contributed in conceptual planning, integrated design, pre-design work, 3D-modeling, presentation drawings and conceptual landscape planning.
